Port Fake is a simple utility that will make bad open ports on your computer, these ports will close their connection as soon as data is sent to them and they will reset themselves, making them impossible to flood. The point of this is to make 'bad' TCP ports so TCP scans made on your computer will be falsified. To use the application, enter a starting and ending port. Say you want to protect your Linux System on port 23, you should first make fake ports from 1 to 22, press start, then make ports from 24 to any other port, so you wont override the real Linux port.
You'll think its very simple, well it is, but it can be useful it alot of ways and I'm sure you'll be able to find other applications to this program. You should not create more than 100 fake ports, you gotta keep in mind that each 'Fake Port' is an open socket on your computer, making more than 100 usually causes a Memory problem and crashes the computer. The new TPorts options allows you to create ports that will be removed when scanned or opened.
